PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid useless reflection of the solar light on a glass for protecting the surface of solar cells to effectively convert the solar light into electric energy by covering the outer and inner surfaces of the glass laid on the cells with a nonreflective coating layer having a wide wavelength band. SOLUTION: A solar cell unit 10 forms a part of a flat plate-like solar cell module and solar cells 11 for converting the solar light into electric energy. A reinforced glass plate 12 for protecting the surface of the cells 11 is laid on a solar cell board of the cells 11. The outer and inner surfaces of the glass laid on the cells are covered with a nonreflective coating layer 13 having a wide wavelength band for the cell unit 10. This prevents reflection on the surface of the glass plate 12 and reflection at critical angles formed by the meeting of the incident lights and the surface of the glass plate 12. As the result, the solar light can be efficiently converted into electric energy. |
