<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multipurpose system LSI device which is adaptable to plural kinds of application software. SOLUTION: This multipurpose system LSI device 2 has OS cores, compiler cores, CPU cores, etc., on the same board, and a selecting circuit register 9 stores information giving sets of optimum OS cores, compilers, CPU cores, etc., by the application software to be executed. According to a command inputted from a GUI 7, the selecting circuit register 9 selects an optimum set, and the selected OS core, compiler core, and CPU core execute the execution application software. For multimedia application, the optimum OS core, compiler core, DSP core, etc., perform arithmetic processings for communication data, obtained through a multimedia core 14a.</p> |
