<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make manufacture easy as well as to improve its productivity by heating and softening a thermoplastic resin insulating tube into a curved U-shape form, and inserting a metal U bolt from a crack or slit formed in the curved projection side peripheral surface, then making it cover to the insulat ing tube after shrinking this tube in a cooling process. SOLUTION: A long-size electric insulating tube, consisting of thermoplastic resin, for example, polytetrafluoroethylene, is cut off and formed into a regular size insulating tube. This insulating tube is heated and softened into a curved U-shaped form, manufacturing a U-shaped insulating tube 3. Next, two circular holes 7 are made in a connecting part between a straight pipe part 3B of the curved part 3A projection side peripheral wall and this curved part 3A, and an interrupted slit 6 is set in a gap between these two circular holes 7 and 7. A U bolt body 2 is inserted thereinto via these holes 7, 7 and this interrupted slit 6, storing it in this insulating tube 3. In succession, this insulating tube 3 is cooled and shrinked, then an inner surface of the insulating tube 3 is covered close to an outer surface of the U-shaped bolt body 2 for steady attachment.</p> |
