PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the brake dragging phenomenon and the pad partial wearing phenomenon. SOLUTION: Respective pads 12, 12 are supported by a pad supporting pin 16 slidably inserted through holes of back plates 12a, 12a of the pads 12, 12 and having both ends fitted in holes of a mounting member 13. The pad supporting pin 16 is arranged in the position offset from the center position in the disc rotor rotating direction of the pads 12, 12 in one direction in the disc rotor rotational direction. An intermediate part of a base part 18a of a spring member 18 is engaged with an annular groove 16a in the center part of the pad supporting pin 16, and one end of the base part 18a is supported to the mounting member 13. A spring action part 18b is formed on the other end of the base part 18a, and the pads 12, 12 are energized in the direction to be separated from the disc rotor and inward in the disc rotor radial direction by being engaged with the back plates 12a.
|
