PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intersection guiding device which, in accordance with driver's familiarity with a to-be-guided intersection, guides a driver to the intersection in easy-understood manner. SOLUTION: While a to-be-guided intersection is related to an entrance rink, an intersection name or street names connected to each intersection and facility names at each intersection are stored in a disc. A rink corresponding to the trace which a car has traveled is stored in a non-volatile memory. When a car comes near a to-be-guided intersection, it is judged whether the entrance rink corresponding to the intersection is included in a travel trace data or not. If it is included, a guide information about the intersection is reported based on the proper name of intersection or the proper name of street connected. If an entrance rink is not included in the travel trace data, a guide information about the intersection is reported based general names of facilities at the intersection or a land marks representing facilities. |
