The flexible seal ring (7) has radial parts (6,8) which can be fixed in the beer barrel head (1) to provide a tight seal between the tap head and side wall (9) of seal ring (7) which has a rib (12) or a slot, this enables pressure sleeve (10) to provide final sealing effect. The flexible seal ring rib (12) has a circular segment cross-section. Length (L) of rib (12) is five to fifteen times larger, than radial thickness (D) of protruding rib (12). Thickness (D) of rib (12) is between 0.4 to 0.7 m/m.
