<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic recording and reproducing device which can control two devices by operating only one device and simply reserves video recording when a program in which a time of broadcasting or one part of a time of broadcasting is overlapped is video-recorded or reserved for video recording. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a receiving section (tuner) 1 for receiving a radio wave, a receiving section 2 which can receive a radio wave independently of the above, an exclusive output terminal 6 demodulating a received radio wave to a picture and a sound signals and outputting them, a first control section 3 controlling a whole state such as receiving sections, indication of picture recording, and the like, and an exclusive control terminal 5 for controlling a magnetic recording and reproducing device 15 which has a terminal for edition and can be externally controlled. And the magnetic recording and reproducing device 15 can be controlled through the exclusive control terminal 5 and video recording can be performed by performing the operation of video recording or reservation of video recording in the magnetic recording and reproducing device 15 when a programs part on the whole of which is broadcasted at the same time is video-recorded or reserved for video recording.</p> |
