PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent production of unacceptable printed circuit boards due to problems in jumper wire feed by determining acceptability of the jumper wire in the case the jumper wire us not reeled out in a straight line by means of a recognition device disposed in front of a jumper wire feed nozzle. SOLUTION: A recognition device disposed on a straight line in the jumper wire feed direction of a nozzle 3 consists of a camera 1 for determining acceptability of straight advancing property of the jumper wire and a controller 2. When the jumper wire 4 is reeled out of the tip of the nozzle 3, the fore-end of the jumper line is photographed with the camera 1, and the image is taken into the controller 2. Based on the contents of the image, acceptability of straight line advancing property of the jumper wire is determined, When even part of the jumper wire 4 exceeds an acceptability determination zone 6, determination is made as unacceptable, and insertion operation is stopped. After the stop, the jumper wire 4 is cut off at the fore-end of the nozzle 3, adjustment is made so that the jumper wire can advance in a straight line, and restarted. |
