PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cause no change on the hardness and elastic modulus of a porous body fixed section and prevent the excessive clogging of hole sections by providing the fixed section made of a thermoplastic resin and the porous body on a retention section, and infiltrating the thermoplastic resin of the fixed section into the hole sections of the porous body to form the boundary face between the fixed section and the porous body. SOLUTION: A catheter 10 retained in the abdominal cavity is provided with a catheter main body 12 and a lumen, and the catheter main body 12 is divided into a retention section 1 retained in the living body and an extension section 2 connected to a dialyzing fluid circuit on the outside of the living body. The retention section 1 passes through subcutaneous tissues, the lumen is opened in the abdominal cavity, and a porous body cuff 20 made of a polyester nonwoven fabric as a thermoplastic resin is provided on the fixed section 13 of the retention section 1, and the thermoplastic resin of the fixed section 13 penetrate the hole sections of a porous body. The cuff 20 is continued and has no joint on the cross section of the fixed section 13. The resin of the fixed section 13 enters the gaps of the constituting fibers of the fixed section side face of the cuff 20, and the cuff 20 is fixed to the fixed section 13. |
