<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dynamically easily cope with shape control even when the temp. distribution of flanges is delicately changed and to surely prevent the generation of defect in shape after cooling without using a complicated calculation and control logic at the time of controlling shape by cooling the flange of a wide flange shape. SOLUTION: The temp. distrubution in the width direction of the flange on the flange surface of the wide flange shape is measured before or after cooling the flange, the center position(FL) of temp. in the width direction of the flange is calculated based on this temp. distribution in the width direction of the flange and the height or angle of nozzles 5 is preliminarily adjusted using this center position of temp. The cooling of flange of the wide flange shape whose temp. is measured or the next wide flange shape to be cooled is executed with a flange water-cooling device 3 and the generation of the defect in shape of products is surely prevented by making the temp. center position after completing the cooling of flange so as to coincide with the center position of flange width.</p> |
