PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decentralize the load on a registering process and increase the efficiency by reading an image of a document by classifying machines of respective lines and performing format registration divisionally among the respective lines. SOLUTION: The document classification lines 2-1 to 2-3 are each provided with a management server 6A and a server 6 which can register the formats of respective documents are provided. An image of a document is received from a classifying machine 4. Once a format is registered, a format file 7 is generated and after the generation, the management server 6A of the document classification line 2-1 as a master requests servers 6 of other lines to transfer format files that are already generated. Consequently, the formats of all the documents are centralized and registered in a master format file 7. Then necessary formats are distributed from the master to other lines when necessary, and then used for classifying and sorting processes. |
