PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the density of developer laid between a photoreceptor and a developing roller high and to improve the recovery efficiency of reattached toner to the developing roller side by providing a developer feeding amount regulating member displaced to a position where the amount of the developer on the developing roller becomes larger at the time of recovering the reattached toner than at the time of developing. SOLUTION: This device is provide with a developer feeding amount control means making the amount of the developer between the image carrier consisting of the photoreceptor 1 and the developer carrying and feeding member consisting of the developing roller 5 larger at the time of recovering the reattached toner on the surface of the image carrier to the developer carrying and feeding member side than at the developing time when an electrostatic latent image is made visualizable to a toner image. The developer feeding amount control means has the developer feeding amount regulating member 18 and a developer feeding amount regulating member driving means. The member 18 is arranged in a developer container 9 and is displaced to the position where the amount of the developer on the roller 5 carried to a gap part from the position at the time of developing larger at the time of recovering the reattached toner than at the time of developing. |
