PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimentional display device in which the state of a reverse stereoscopic vision is not brought about and which is capable of finding an area where a stereoscopic vision is possible easily in the three-dimensional display device in which a stereoscopic picture can be observed while the observer does not put on specific spectacles. SOLUTION: In a display device 2, a picture for right eye 4, a picture for left eye 5 and a non-display part 6 being a parallax picture are successively circulatingly formed cyclicly while respectively having the same widths. This three-dimensional display device is constituted so that only the picture for right eye 4 is seen by the right eye 7 of the observer and the only the picture for left eye 5 is seen by the left eye 8 of the observer at an observing position. When the observer performs an observation at a correct position, the stereoscopic vision is possible. When the right eye 7 of the observer is moved to a position where the picture for left eye 5 is observed, the left eye 8 becomes to see the non-display part 6 and when the left eye 8 is moved to a position where the picture for right eye 5 is observed, the right eye 7 becomes to see the non-display part 6. Consequently, the vision does not become the state of the reverse stereoscopic vision and also the area where the stereoscopic vision is possible is easily found. |
