PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten time necessary for maintenance control work and to improve the working efficiency of a serviceman engaging in maintenance control by simultaneously performing maintenance work whose kind is different between an image forming device main body and an external maintenance device and simultaneously displaying the result. SOLUTION: A communication interface 52 communicating with an external device (checker) is connected to a main body CPU 50 provided in a copying machine main body. The checker is controlled by a checker CPU and is equipped with a communication interface connected to the communication interface 52 of the copying machine main body and a memory for storing data for maintenance control received from the copying machine main body. In the case the same checked item is set in the image forming device main body and the checker at the time of using the device in a service mode, information on screens displayed by respective display parts is transmitted and received through the communication interface 52 and the checked content is displayed by interlocking the screens between the image forming device main body and the checker. |
