PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which required no special sensors or the like, and corrects a sensitivity difference at the tine of photoreceptor replacement and, therefore, prevents the state of being excessively bright. SOLUTION: A B-area denotes a deteriorated part of a photoreceptor and a C-area denotes a soiled part of an optical system. Because, when an image forming cartridge is replaced with a new one, the photoreceptor is fresh and not deteriorated at all, an B-area does not exist. Therefore, a difference denoted by an A-area is inevitably made. Then a cartridge counter is reset at the time of the cartridge replacement, and an amount of correction is cleared. At this time, the amount of the correction of light quantity by the counter of the device main body is not cleared. Therefore, the amount of the correction of light quantity is always equal to the value obtained by the sum of the correction of the light quantity by the device counter and the correction of light quantity by the cartridge counter. Because, at the time of the cartridge replacement, its counter is reset, only the correction of a quantity of light by the counter of the device main body remains. |
