<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper loading and housing device which matches a large capacity with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: This staple sorter 10 is equipped with a non-sort tray 20 with a great capacity. Papers are housed in bins 311 through 3120 in the order of pages (sort mode) so as to be stapled by a staple unit 70. A paper carrying gate 100 equipped with rollers 102 and 103, can be moved up and down, each bundle of papers having been stapled, is taken out of the bin 31 by the rollers 102 and 103, when the gate is moved down, and the bundle of papers is delivered over to the tray 20 after the gate has been moved up. At the time of delivery, the gate is moved up to a level higher than the uppermost surface of the papers loaded and housed in on the tray 20.</p> |
