<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable displacement supercharger capable of arranging its actuator in the axial direction of its turbine wheel for its improved mountability. SOLUTION: A supercharger has a multitude of rotatable vanes arranged around an exhaust gas inflow port at which a turbine wheel is disposed, and rotates the vanes by an actuator 16 to vary the inflow area. Crank mechanisms 8, 12 and 14 are interposed between the actuator 16 and the vanes to position the actuator 16 in parallel with the axial direction of the turbine wheel.</p> |
