PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a herbicidal composition which contains a specific compound as an active ingredient and can only control the object weeds selectively without any chemical damage to transplanted rice seedlings. SOLUTION: This herbicidal composition contains a compound of formula I (R<1> is cyano, a 1-4C haloalkyl, a halogen; R<2> is a halogen; R<3> and R<4> are independently from each other a 1-6C alkyl, a 2-4C alkenyl, etc.) and at least one of compound selected from the compounds of formula II as active ingredients. In this composition, the content of the compound of formula H is preferably 0.01-10 pts.wt. per 1 pt.wt. of the compound of formula I. The objective composition is mixed with a carrier (e.g. clay) comprising a solid or liquid diluent, further a surfactant (for example, sodium alkylaryl-sulfonate) is admixed thereto and is used in the form of' a preparation. |
