PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the light emitting display device in which the increase in the cost is suppressed, the power consumption is also reduced, the constitution is simplified, the pixel density is increased and picture information is displayed in a white color. SOLUTION: A unit 1 is provided with a base plate 2 on which plural light emitting bodies 4 are arranged. Each light emitting body 4 is constituted of a blue(B) light emitting diode(LED) and a yellow(Y) LED. The driving circuit installed on the driving circuit base plate of the unit 1 selectively drives the plural LEDs 4 so that the selected B and Y LEDs simultaneously emit light beams with a prescribed luminosity ratio to display picture information in a white color. Since white light beams are formed by the combination of two B and Y LEDs, the number of required LEDs per unit pixel is reduced. |
