PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a photosensitive recording medium capable of transferring and forming an image having proper image densities of primary colors such as yellow, magenta and cyan and also having satisfactory tones of neutral tints obtd. by combining primary colors by specifying luminous reflectance of a photosensitive layer. SOLUTION: A photosensitive layer 3 contg. at least a photosensitive substance and color materials for forming an image and having about 2-20% luminous reflectance is formed on a substrate 2 such as a plastic film to obtain the objective photosensitive recording medium 1 used for transferring and forming an image on an image receiving medium. The photosensitive layer 3 is made of a mixture of a binder with photosensitive microcapsules 4 for yellow coloring, photosensitive microcapsules 5 for magenta coloring and photosensitive microcapsules 6 for cyan coloring. Luminous reflectance means numerical value representing the ratio (V2/V1) of luminous flux V2 reflected from a body to luminous flux V1 incident on the body usually by means of percentage.
