<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the consumption of a cover sheet by operating a bookbinding mode indication means to arrange cover sheets to both surfaces of the uppermost and lowermost parts of a treated sheet group in the first mode and applying the cover sheet to either one of the surfaces of the treated sheet group in the second mode. CONSTITUTION:A key K3 indicating the operation relating to bookbinding treatment can indicate a usual mode, a single surface cover mode and a double- surface cover mode. In the single surface cover mode, operation for placing a cover sheet on the upper most part of a loaded general sheet group is automatically performed and, in the double-surface cover mode, operation placing cover sheets on both of the upper surface of the uppermost part of the general sheet group and the under surface of the lowermost part thereof is performed. When a cover copy mode is in an OFF-state, a front cover is placed on the first page P1 and a back cover is placed under the n-th page Pn and, when the cover copy mode is in an ON-state, the front cover becomes the first page P1 and the back cover becomes the n-th page Pn. At the time of the single surface cover mode, the back cover is omitted and only the front cover is used.</p> |
