A circuit for reducing noise when receiving a weak signal includes: a tuner(10) for converting a radio wave to an intermediate frequency; a IF amplifier(20) for amplifying an intermediate frequency signal from the tuner(10), controlling a gain of the frequency signal, and feeding back the frequency signal to the tuner(10); a noise reducing circuit(30) for reducing an output signal of the IF amplifier(20) by a predetermined voltage level below, when the output signal of the IF amplifier(20) is a noise component of the predetermined voltage level; and video signal processor(40) for selecting one between the output signal of the IF amplifier(20) and the output signal of the noise reducing circuit(30), and reproducing it as a chronominance signal and a luminance signal.
