A process is described for the preparation of albumins, which comprises the elimination of the low-molecular-weight anion responsible for the release of aluminium on the part of the glass container which contains it. This anion is present in fraction V of the method of Cohn, or other plasma fractions, and is reduced by the technique of dialysis by ultrafiltration to trace level. <IMAGE>
