Automatic system for making hotel and similar reservations remotely. This includes a series of automatic hotel terminals each taking the form of computer equipment which, through the public communications networks, such as the telephone network, are connected to a series of interactive public terminals 3 structured around an internal processing unit 4 which, by means of a communications module 7, is linked to the various automatic hotel terminals, for receiving information from them, and which is assisted by a television monitor 8, a coin-box 9, a keyboard 10 and a printer 11, so that the user can request information via the keyboard 10 on the degree of occupation and price of the hotels linked to the system, receive it via the monitor 8 and where appropriate make the reservation at one of these hotels by inserting an amount of money in the coin-box 9 and receiving a receipt from the printer 11. <IMAGE>
