The jig has a main support (1), a support fort the pins (2) which is height adjustable. The pin support has small magnetic supports (11) for the pins (12), which can be held in place by stops (4). The jig also has a support for the height adjustable positioning of the dental mould carrier (7). The mould carrier support can have an axis inclined to the horizontal at five degrees to allow smooth flow of the plaster into the mould. The magnetic supports can be positioned above the dental mould carrier to allow positioning of the plaster vibrator below it.
