The invention discloses a lock striker plate assembly to equip a door leaf, particularly a door, and particularly a landing door of a lift, and to co-operate in closing with the sliding bolt of a lock located opposite in the door frame, the said striker plate being inserted in the door edge of the door leaf (2) and fixed on one side (9) thereof by means of securing screws (10 and 11) passing through holes (12 and 13) located on either side of a bolt passage hole (25) of outside diameter substantially greater than that of the cylinder (7) of the striker plate, characterised in that the striker plate consists of three separate elements: a support element (14) globally omega-shaped with straight and mutually perpendicular sides; a cylinder (7) for the striker plate (1) to be set on the vertical side part (19) of the support element (14) between the two horizontal side parts (20 and 21); a rod (6) with its lower end (28) threaded from an intermediate stop (29) to pass through the smooth hole (27) of the base (26) of the cylinder (7) and to be screwed in the hole (31) provided with a nut (22) held at the bottom (19) of the support element (14).
