A brush seal for two chambers with different pressures (P1, P2) between a stator (20) and a rotor (10) of a turbo-engine. The bristles (30) of the brush seal have angled bristle sections (31), the ends of which bear on the sealing surface of the rotor (10). This makes for both low bristle stiffness and a reduction in the radial installation space required.
