Underfloor aeration system for composting plant

Aeration system for a composting plant which has composting chamber (5) with a perforated floor (3) under which there is an aeration chamber (4), where the novelty is that the aeration chamber (4) is divided into separate sub-chambers each of which is supplied by a separate aeration pipes (6-11). The aeration pipes (6-11) run from one end of the rectangular composting plant, parallel to each other along aeration chamber (4). Also claimed is (a) a through-wall manifold bushing which has a housing and connects aeration pipes through the dividing walls between the sub-chambers of the aeration chamber; (b) a composting plant which uses the above aeration system.
