Setting up individual empty containers in rows

Each individual empty container (1) is aligned into a position where its longitudinal axis lies in a certain position and the position here is fixed and each empty container in this position is moved on. Each empty container which was established lying opposite the certain position is turned 180 degrees about a rotary axis across its longitudinal axis and is then passed on. The empty containers are housed unclassified in loose bulk in a vessel (3) which has an outlet forming the sorting device with associated fall chute which has a guide section (22) directing the empty container into the defined position. A following section (24) has barrier member preventing the empty container set opposite the defined position from dropping out.
