Linear amplifier with transistor pair

The two transistors (2,3) are interconnected for class AB operation, and their input and output high frequency (HF) is monitored by a microprocessor control (4). This is coupled to the biasing terminals of the two transistors for individual adjustment of a biasing voltage at each transistor, in order to obtain a linearity of the output HF with respect to the input HF signal. The microprocessor preferably contains a CPU, receiving the signals from an analogue to digital (A/D) converter, with input signal and temperature input terminals, detecting the input and output HF signals and the temperature of the transistors, respectively.
