Removing end labels individually from stack

The device has a lifter (3) which always lifts the topmost label (2) from the stack. A holder (6) extending above the stack is supported on the outer circumference of the stack and during removal of the topmost label keeps the lower labels in place. One or more holders are arranged at even spacing on the outer circumference of the stack and are connected together by a closed or open circumferential structure (7) enclosing the stack. The holders can be divided or finger-shaped supported inclined on the top edge of the stack. They can hang by their own weight from the upper edge of the stack to sink down with gravity as the stack becomes lower.
