<p>The invention relates to process for the preparation of a terpolymer of ethylene, an α-olefin and a diene, and which comprises the use of a transition metal complex and a co-catalyst. The invention is characterized in that the polymerization is conducted using a transition metal complex consisting of a reduced transition metal complex, chosen from groups 4-6 of the Periodic Table of the Elements, with a multidentate monoanionic ligand and with two monoanionic ligands, at a temperature of between -10 and 220 °C. In particular the reduced transition metal in the complex is titanium (Ti).</p> |
