<p>A method for manufacturing and/or reparation of a brass instrument, which brass instrument, such as a tuba or a like includes a sound funnel (1), a mechanism (2) connected to the sound funnel and a mouth pipe (4), that is connected to a jointing point (L) being in connection with the mechanism preferably detachably by means of an attachment arrangement (3', 3'') made functional by such as quick locking principle. The brass instrument is being played by controlling a valve arrangement (2a) belonging to the mechanism (2) by means of push buttons (2b) and by exploiting a mouth piece (4a), that is connected preferably detachably to the mouth pipe (4). To achieve a personal brass instrument, the measures characteristic of the user of the brass instrument are determined by means of a measuring apparatus (X), to produce a personally shaped mouth pipe (4') on grounds of the determined measures by taking into consideration the basic information characteristic of the brass instrument, such as measure information regarding to the jointing point (L), sound funnel (1) and/or mouth pipe.</p> |
