<p>Nucleic acid molecules that specifically bind complement protein C3b are described. The C3b aptamers may be used diagnostically in vivo or in vitro to detect C3b in a mixture or a biological sample or may be used therapeutically to inhibit undesirable C3b-mediated complement events, for example, to treat inflammation.</p> |
