The electrophotographic unit system has a fixing unit for the heating of toner, which is transported or transmitted on a strip of continuous paper sheets, and fixing the toner on the strip of continuous paper sheets. A folding unit applies a folding force on the strip, which is further fed from the fixing unit. A stacking unit is provided for the stacking of the folded strip of the continuous paper sheets. A gap forming unit is also provided, which is arranged in the starting stage of the stacking unit, for the further conveying of the folded strip of paper sheets (10), so that gaps are formed in the folded strip of continuous paper sheets.
