The process concerns recording 2 types of linked information on a data carrier, which consists of a reflecting substrate with light-sensitive silver halide (AgX) emulsion layer(s) on one side. It involves selective exposure of the front (with the AgX emulsion layer) and then processing by development and fixing. The novelty is that the back of the substrate is brought into close contact with the surface of a carrier with an electrostatic toner image, then the toner image is fixed by heating to 100-200 deg C for 0.01-1.0 second.
