Electronic control device for internal combustion (IC) engine valves

The control device (5) provides output signals for the electromagnetically operated entry and exit valves (6) for the engine (4), in dependence on supplied engine operating data, e.g. loading, the fuel consumption, accelerator pedal position and the engine revs. The rotation of the engine can be detected via a pulse source (7) cooperating with the drive shaft, the obtained signals fed to a computer acting as the control device for providing the operating signals for the engine entry and exit valves.
