The control unit (1) includes a signal processor (2) which detects and processes a modulated turning signal to switch the path to a turning electrical transmission line. A modulated straight line signal is switched to a straight line electrical transmission line. Intermediate instruction signals are generated in accordance with the modulated turning signal and the modulated straight line signal, respectively which cause energy transmission to an electrical operator for the path switching. The intermediate instruction signals are received by an energy control unit (3) which in accordance transmits energy to an electrical operator. The operator is energised and the switching to a corresponding electrical transmission line is accomplished by switching solenoids.
