The auxiliary system (22) is connected detachably with the endoscope (10), and has a beam divider mirror (24), for deflecting at least one part of the determined fluorescent light and/or the remitted light to a spectrometer (32). The auxiliary system has a lens (28) for the imaging of the diverted fluorescent light and/or the remitted light to a first light wave conducting fibre or a first light wave conducting bundle (30). The focal length of the lens (28) is variable.
