The invention relates to a channelized protection system, to form or secure traffic routes in particular, with several channelizing units (1), placed in a row behind each other, whereby each channelizing unit exhibits a central part (3), aligned substantially parallel to the direction of the traffic route and elastically ductile across its longitudinal axis, and which comprises a majority of supports (4) running cross-wise to it, with supporting surfaces (5) which are substantially symetrical to the central part, enabling ductability of the central part at a mutual distance from each other, whereby both of the two adjacent channelizing units can be joined or released from one another by means of a coupling unit which engages in the gaps located between the supports.
