Decorative air freshening system for public rooms

In the air freshening installation, the filter function is incorporated in a plant pot whose soil is compounded with activated charcoal and soil microbes and whose pant is watered by droplet irrigation and capillary action. Air is circulated through the pot by a central blower. The filter element, i.e. the pot, is a vessel whose construction in a concertina configuration allows it to be lengthened and then held in position by rods. A number of these pots can then be linked as a room divider and made effective as air fresheners by having a separate air conditioning system servicing a tubular manifold. As a further enhancement the pots could be placed on adjustable arms radiating from a spiral column.
