The x-ray imaging device includes a moving x-ray pick-up system and an electronic digital image processor. The image processor includes a digital filter which is used to reconstruct a sharp image. A single image camera and a digital tv camera are included along with an x-ray generator and x-ray image amplifier. The x-ray generator and amplifier are fixed to a c-arc, and a monitor is provided for image reproduction. The c-arc can be tilted about a horizontal axis so that the patient is irradiated at different angles during movement of the pick-up system.
