A channel for power guide chains, particularly rapidly running energy guide chains, said chains are arranged so that, over at least part of their travel, they form a lower loop portion extending in a substantially linear direction, above which extends an upper loop portion which partly freely sags and partly lies on the lower loop portion. The channel essentially consists of a hollow section constructed of several parts and provided with at least one passage extending in the longitudinal direction of the channel for at least one driver attached to the power guide chain arranged in the channel. To ensure simple maintenance access to the power guide chain in the channel and to ensure low noise running of the power guide chain, a removable floor element (2b) is provided as a track for the power guide chain (5) on which the lower loop portion (13) of the power guide chain (5) can be unwound. |
