PURPOSE:To also ensure good flexibility while easily obtaining high whiteness by using a polyester film wherein a surface air leakage index, heat conductivity and whiteness are respectively specific values in a thermal recording receiving sheet base material and setting the cushion factor thereof to a specific value. CONSTITUTION:A receiving sheet base material contains a polyester film wherein a surface air leakage index is 1000-30000sec or less, heat conductivity is (0.5X10<-4>)-(3X10<-4>)cal/cm.s. deg.C and whiteness is 70% or more and the cushion factor thereof is set to 10% or more. The polyester film contains fine air bubbles and the surface wetting tension thereof is 40dyn/cm or more and the apparent specific gravity thereof is 0.5-1.2. Further, the polyester film contains 2-25wt.% of polyolefin and is biaxially stretched. |
