<p>A combination balance comprising a plurality of cups (20) into which articles (21) are charged, a weighing unit (62) for measuring the total weight of the cups (20) and articles (21) placed in the cups (20), or the weight of the articles (21) as placed in a cup, a retention conveyor (63) for receiving a plurality of cups (20), in which the articles (21) weighed by the weighing unit (62) are placed, from the weighing unit (62) and storing these cups (20) thereon, a combination computing means for variously combining various weight values obtained by the weighing operation of the weighing unit (62), and selecting among these combinations of values the articles (21) constituting a set, the total weight value of which is within a predetermined range of weight, and a transfer conveyor (66) for carrying the cups (20), in which the articles (21) constituting the set selected by the combination computing means are placed, to a discharge position in which these articles (21) are discharged. <IMAGE></p> |
