PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method using an image forming material by which an amount of a protective film for use can be reduced by half. SOLUTION: In this device, a transfer drum 1 to which an image receiving body is attached, and a pressure drum 8 to which an image forming material obtained by bonding a photoreceptive layer and a support to both sides of a light shielding protective film in order is attached are provided, and the image receiving body and the photoreceptive layer are introduced to a nip made between the transfer drum 1 and pressure drum 8 so as to face each other, thereby transferring an image formed on the photoreceptive layer to the image receiving body. In this case, the image forming material subjected to image exposure is attached to the pressure drum 8, all except the support and photoreceptive layer on the side of the pressure drum 8 are peeled off to transfer the images on the photoreceptive layer to the image receiving body, the peeled parts are attached to the pressure drum 8 after the transfer, and the photoreceptive images in the peeled parts are transferred to the image receiving body. The peeled parts are moved and placed onto a tray, the placed peeled-parts are attached to the pressure drum 8, and the photoreceptive images in the peeled parts are transferred to the image receiving body. |
