PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the workability of a writing utensil without providing an air venting process during a manufacturing process by a method wherein an airing path, which is clogged at the finish of the connection of shaft members, is formed at the connecting portions of the shaft members of the writing utensil, within which ink is housed. SOLUTION: On the fitting inner surface 12 of a rear shaft 1b, an airing groove 13 is formed so as to communicate the interior of a shaft tube with the outside during the midway of the fitting between a front shaft 1a and the rear shaft 1b through the airing groove 13 and the shaft tube is tightly sealed at the completion of fitting by clogging the airing groove 13. Though the groove is formed on the fitting inner surface 12 of an exterior material in the fitting portion (or the rear shaft 1b) as the airing path, a groove may well be formed on the fitting outer surface 11 of an interior material (or the front shaft 1a) or an air hole formed near the opening part of the interior material may be allowed. However, when the shaft tube is made of a synthetic resin injected molded article, the groove is preferable from the view point of the easiness of molding. The blow-off of ink, its dripping-down and its leaking can be suppressed as small as possible. |
