PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent electrolytic corrosion of a rolling bearing due to a load generated on the rotary shaft of a rotor, in an electric motor driven by an inverter device. SOLUTION: A rolling bearing comprises an inner ring 1 made of a metal to support a rotary shaft; an outer ring 3 made of a metal held at a structure, such as a bracket, and a seal plate 4 formed of a conductive flexible material to cover two ends with the seal plate separated away from a rolling body 2, such as a steel ball, and make contact with the inner and outer rings 1 and 3. By incorporating the rolling bearing in an electric motor, the electric motor is provided to prevent the occurrence of electrolytic corrosion as a result of a load generated on the rotary shaft of a rotor being not discharged to the interior of the rolling baring.
