PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a welded structure excellent in microbial corrosion resistance and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: This welded structure is the one contg. Cr or the like expressed by the below-cited formulae (1), (2) and (3) in a base metal stainless steel and contg. a weld metal of a stainless steel of austenite in which the content ofδferrite is regulated to <=7vol.%; in the case Cr<0> or the like are defined as the wt.% of the base metal and CrJ or the like are defined as the wt.% of the weld metal. (1) CrJ-Cr<0> >=2.35, (2) MoJ-Mo<0> >=0.27 and (3) (CrJ+1.1MoJ+12NJ +0.1NiJ)--(Cr<0> +1.1Mo<0> +12N<0> +0.1Ni<0> ) >=2.85. As for the method for producing the welded structure, a stainless steel contg., by weight, <=0.08% C, 0.1 to 1.5% Si, 0.1 to 2.5% Mn, 3.5 to 45% Ni, 15 to 30% Cr, 0 to 7% Mo, 0 to 3% Cu, 0.002 to 0.3% N and optional elements is welded by a stainless steel welding material contg. Cr or the like in the following (4), (5), (6) and (7): (4) CrW-Cr<0> >=2.5, (5) MoW-Mo<0> >=0.3, (6) (CrW+1.1MoW-+12NW+0.1NiW)-(Cr<0> +1.1 Mo<0> +12N<0> +0.1Ni<0> )>=3 and (7) 1.34CrW(eq)-NiW(eq)<=14; where CrW(eq)=CrW+ MoW+1.5SiW and NiW (eq)=NiW+30CW+30NW+0.5MnW. In the case CrW and the like are defined as the wt.% of the welding material.
