PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a solid electrolytic capacitor, which can make the various characteristics, such as tanδcharacteristics, and impedance characteristics enhanced stably. SOLUTION: In a method of manufacturing a solid electrolytic capacitor of a structure, wherein a conductive polyaniline film is laminated on an element with an oxide film formed on a valve action metal, a dedoped polyaniline solution is applied to the element and after that, at least one time of a process out of processes, which extend to a process of heat-treating the element in either of an oxygen-containing atmosphere and an inert gas atmosphere, is repeatedly performed twice or more in the other atmosphere of the above atmospheres and at the same time, a process of applying a protonic acid solution to the element is performed after the above process and the conductive polyaniline film is formed.
